It’s important to us that your child’s first visit is spent more on making them comfortable and discussing any of your questions and concerns. Unfortunately for a lot of other offices, the first visit is spent filling out paperwork and talking about insurance information. Here at Camp Little Tooth, we believe that your child’s first pediatric dental visit should be a positive one.
Your Child’s First Visit to Camp Little Tooth
Before visiting our office for the first time, make sure you explain to your child that the dentist is our friend! Avoid using scary words like ‘needle’, ‘shot’, or ‘drill.’ Instead let your child know that all Dr. Rae and the rest of the staff want is to count his or her teeth and help them to brush! During this visit, we’ll also speak with you about your child’s medical and dental history as well as any fears he or she has regarding the dentist. Please don’t hesitate to ask us questions! We believe that a well-educated parent equals a child with better oral hygiene!
